Almost all of our vacation homes can accommodate your dog or dogs as guests. When searching and booking, indicate the number of pets so that you only see vacation homes where pets are welcome during your chosen period.

Nice off-leash areas for dogs

Previously, dogs were allowed to run free in the woods. Since the return of the wolf to the wild, many municipalities on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug have banned dogs from running free in the woods.

Always read the sign at the entrance to the nature reserves.

Amerongen Forestry Commission: there are four places where dogs are allowed to run free; in the rest of the area, dogs must be kept on a leash.

Boswachterij Austerlitz: van 15 maart t/m 15 september moeten honden hier aan de lijn. De rest van het jaar mogen honden hier los, behalve in Wallenberg waar honden het hele jaar aan de lijn moeten,
