At Landgoed Ruwinkel, we have a pet-friendly version of almost all accommodations. Your four-legged friend will appreciate a nice long walk in the woods opposite the park. A 6-kilometer walk if you follow the signs with the yellow clogs. At Landgoed Ruwinkel, you will find vacation homes, country houses, and chalets for a carefree stay
No more lugging around dog beds, food bowls, or crates. Everything is already waiting for you and your four-legged friend in one of our 6-person holiday homes Dogs. These special holiday homes are located close to the dog toilet.
Almost all of our vacation homes can accommodate your dog or dogs as guests. When searching and booking, indicate the number of pets so that you only see vacation homes where pets are welcome during your chosen period.
Nice off-leash areas for dogs
Previously, dogs were allowed to run free in the woods. Since the return of the wolf to the wild, many municipalities on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug have banned dogs from running free in the woods.
Always read the sign at the entrance to the nature reserves.
Amerongen Forestry Commission: there are four places where dogs are allowed to run free; in the rest of the area, dogs must be kept on a leash.
