Who are we?

I was born, raised, and live in Woudenberg, a neighboring village of Scherpenzeel in the province of Utrecht. A long time ago, I started as an intern in tourism at what was then Landal Klein Ruwinkel. I have held various roles, from intern to temporary employee, receptionist, head receptionist during the Landal Greenparks era, to a more behind-the-scenes role at present. I ensure that our estate is optimally occupied. I keep track of the planning. I prefer to cycle from my home to work. In my spare time, I enjoy shopping with friends in shopping cities such as Veenendaal or Amersfoort. But I also really enjoy weekend trips in the Netherlands.

In 2017, I did an internship at Landgoed Ruwinkel, and I have stayed there ever since because of my passion for hospitality and the friendly atmosphere within the team.

I live in Veenendaal and love the beautiful forests of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. I can often be found there taking daily walks with my faithful four-legged friend. Together with Jolette, I fulfill the role of front office manager and am the point of contact for the team at the reception desk.

I started working here in the new millennium: that means it will have been 24 years in 2024! I am originally from the Leusden area (also a neighboring municipality of Scherpenzeel), but I have been living in the lovely Veluwe village of Voorthuizen (above Barneveld) for a long time now. In addition to being an amateur chef and preparing many of the products you can enjoy at our Bread & Breakfast, I am also a real craft enthusiast. I especially enjoy knitting, crocheting, and knitting with knitting looms: I love to craft.

I come from the beautiful village of Renswoude and am the best of us all at speaking the local dialect. I started as an intern in 2012, but I still enjoy working at Ruwinkel. Together with Jasmijn, I fulfill the role of front-office manager and am the point of contact for the team at the reception desk.

I love cycling to work and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Since April 2024, I have been happily working at Landgoed Ruwinkel in Scherpenzeel. I live in Woudenberg myself and in my spare time I can often be found on the volleyball court or doing fun things with friends. What do I like so much about my work here? The variety and the contact with our guests. No two days are the same, and that's what makes working at our park so much fun! A few years ago, I started working at the park as an intern for my studies. After graduating, I continued my studies and started working part-time at the estate.

My name is Denise and I have been working at Landgoed Ruwinkel with great enthusiasm since 2024. Hospitality is very important to me; I do everything I can to make sure everyone feels welcome. In my spare time, I play field hockey. I come from Renswoude, which is why this workplace feels extra familiar!

In September 2011, I started working at Landgoed Ruwinkel as a Technical Services employee. I live on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. In my spare time, I enjoy tinkering with old motorcycles. If you happen to have a technical problem in your vacation home, I hope to be able to solve it for you.

I was born in Ede and raised in Scherpenzeel. If you have made your payment yourself without using our payment link, I may have had to manually link your payment to our reservation system. I also take care of the accounting, website, and social media for Landgoed Ruwinkel. My tips for the ultimate experience: mountain biking on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug is sensational! Great fun to do.
