Enjoy the birds singing, the fresh air, and the varied landscapes of the Gelderse Vallei. Whether you opt for a short stroll or a longer hike, there is something for everyone.

Discover the beautiful countryside around Renswoude and Scherpenzeel along the Breeschoterpad trail. This 6 km route is marked with yellow clogs, and you can start the route opposite the Ruwinkel Estate. You will walk through the varied landscape of the Gelderse Vallei: past farmyards, across estates, and along parts of the historic Grebbelinie. Enjoy peace, nature, and culture as you pass the Breeschoterplas and the Groeperkade along the way.
From Landgoed Ruwinkel, you start on the Breeschoterpad, a beautiful walk through the countryside. At Restaurant De Dennen, you switch to the Fort Daatselaarpad, which takes you past special heritage sites such as Fort Daatselaar, the Slaperdijk, and Renswoude Castle. This allows you to combine two beautiful routes for a varied walking experience!
Walk across farmyards, along the Valleikanaal canal, and through the Grebbelinie in the beautiful countryside around Woudenberg. Discover bunkers and experience a replica trench, reminders of the military history of the Gelderse Vallei. From April to October, you can visit the Grebbelinie Museum in the Vizier.
Ontdek de natuur samen met het hele gezin! Vanaf Landgoed Ruwinkel starten leuke wandelroutes waar ook kinderen van genieten. Lekker struinen over zandpaden, dieren spotten en spelen in het groen wandelen was nog nooit zo leuk! Routes zijn verkrijgbaar bij de receptie.
Vanaf Landgoed Ruwinkel: De speurtocht van Lotje van Zomeren "De Geheime Sleutels van Landgoed Ruwinkel"
Voor het hele gezin een avontuurlijke buitenbeleving! Met leuke vragen, grappige weetjes en gekke opdrachten is deze Smartphone Speurtocht een actieve wandelspeurtocht. De speurtocht is ca. 3 km lang en geschikt voor kinderen vanaf 6 jaar.
De folder is op te halen bij de receptie.
Niet ver van Landgoed Ruwinkel ligt tot voor kort genaamd camping de Lucht. De nieuwe naam van de camping heet sinds de overname De Leughte Resort Renswoude. Naast deze collega aanbieder ligt het Leugthenpad speciaal voor kinderen. Op de receptie van de Leughte Resort Renswoude kunt u de rugzakroute kopen met daarin allerlei leuke gadgets. Het is met de fiets makkelijker naar toe te fietsen met de auto is het via Renswoude zelf.
In het naburige dorp Lunteren (beukenlaan 11) kunt een wandeling maken met één van de vriendelijke Alpaca's in het Alpacabos. Geniet van de natuur in combinatie met het hoge knuffelgehalte van deze lieve dieren.
